How Do I Meet People?

First Church of God is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at First Church of God.

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, First Church of God has small bible studies held in various locations throughout our building. The size of the group is typically from six to twelve.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday evening, our teenagers meet at the church for their own worship and Bible study time.  Games and various activities help bring our students (6th-12th graders)closer to each other and to God.  Our Youth Ministry team does an amazing job at building relationships with the teens in the Hutchinson area.

On Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings, children (4 years old to 6th grade) have the opportunity to worship and to learn about Jesus, with teaching that is geared to their particular age.  On Wednesday evenings, a meal is provided at 5:45, free of charge to all kids.

Women’s Group

Our ladies’ group, Christian Women Connection (CWC) meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm.

Men’s Group

Our men’s group meets at the church for breakfast the 2nd Saturday of each month.  All guys are welcome.  Breakfast is served at 8:00 am.

Senior Members

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of FCOG provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.
